There are 192 works 70 fandoms in the collection as of reveals, and we will be very happy to welcome any late treats.
Also, we have been made aware that, due to a glitch on AO3, creators may be revealed shortly. If this happens, we will allow them to stay revealed. Otherwise, creators will be revealed on schedule in one week's time.

Reveals Are Coming Soon!
Dec. 24th, 2025 10:49 amthe_exchange_modWe're on track for reveals in a little over 12 hours, at around midnight EST. But before we get there, here's a few things you can do to make sure that things go as well as possible:
- Make sure your gift is going to the right person.
Double-check spelling of your recipient's username and/or pseud, especially if your work is a treat! - Make sure that your work is properly posted.
If your work is still a draft, we can't accept it into the collection! Be sure it's fully posted, and without any glaring errors, so we know it's good to go. - Check your email.
If the mods have noticed any glaring errors, we may have tried to contact you about them. Feel free to email us any questions you may have as well! We're reachable at theexchangemods@gmail.com - Make sure your work is showing up as intended.
Is the whole work there? Has anything been accidentally double-pasted?Are there any notes that you meant to remove before reveals? Is the work edited, and have you posted the latest version? Is the formatting correct? - Keep working on treats!
We'll be welcoming treats to the collection, even after reveals!
Having trouble locating the work you posted? Here's how to find it:
- When logged in to your AO3 account, select your icon or "Hi, [username]!" to go to your dashboard.
- Select "Collections" from menu at the left or top of your screen.
- Select "Manage Collection Items" near the top of your screen, below "[Username]'s Collections".
- Use the buttons near the top of the screen, under "Items by [username] in Collections" to find your work.
- It will probably be under "Approved", but if not, check "Awaiting Collection Approval".
- If it's in "Awaiting Collection Approval" and you've posted it more than 24 hours ago, double-check that it's not a draft and that everything is right, and contact us if you have any questions or issues!

Your work must meet the minimum requirement of being a complete fic of at least 1,000 words or a complete piece of art in order to be accepted as a completed assignment.
If your work is under 1,000 words, a draft on AO3, or noticeably incomplete, it will not be accepted as completing your assignment. That said, you are welcome to edit and add to your assignment after the deadline, so don't worry if it still needs some polishing.
If you don’t think you’ll be done in time, please contact us at theexchangemods@gmail.com and we can arrange for extensions as needed.
We’d also like to take this opportunity to remind you about treating.
Treating is a great opportunity to spread cheer a little further, and also to create things for those prompts that really suited your fancy, but you didn’t get matched with this time!
You are under no obligation to create or receive treats, however, if you’d like to do so, here’s some tips to help out:
To receive treats, you must have the ability to receive gift works turned on. If you have a newer AO3 account (2022 or later) and want to receive treats, then you will need to turn this feature on manually.
To do so, follow these steps:
- Go to “My Preferences”, found under the “Hi [Username]” menu at the top of any AO3 page.
- Scroll down to “Collections, Challenges and Gifts”.
- Make sure the box beside “Allow anyone to gift me works” is checked.
- Select “Update” at the bottom of the page to confirm.
Don’t worry, you will still be able to receive the gift from your assigned giver whether or not you have “Allow anyone to gift me works” checked!
All requests from this exchange are available at the auto AO3 app.
Feel free to look through them and see if anything catches your eye! Just remember that all works must fulfill at least one of the requester’s prompts. There is no minimum word counts for treats, so long as it is a complete work.

Another Toku Holiday Special 2021

Writers will be asked to create a story of at least 1000 words based on one of the prompts they receive; artists will be asked to create one completed piece of art based on one of the prompts they receive. All participants will receive a story or artwork based on prompts that they submit in return. Stories and art will be anonymous when posted, and the authors will be revealed on a set day.
